Our Charleston Vacation

In August we took a family vacation to one of our favorite places, Charleston, SC! This time we decided to stay right outside Charleston, in Mt Pleasant, so we could be closer to the beaches and explore a different part of the area. We absolutely loved Mt Pleasant! There, we were a short 10 minute drive from Sullivan's Island where we ended each night at the best ice cream shop, Republic. We also discovered some new restaurants which will definitely be on our list to visit when we go back! The casual atmosphere of Saltwater Cowboys was perfect for an afternoon spent on the water. We were able to bring Waylon and he loved the drinks and nachos just as much as we did. If you get a chance to go, their Trash Can Nachos are a must! We decided to get dressed up for a dinner in Charleston at Poogan's Porch, which is a must if you're able to make reservations. Their fried green tomato's are delicious and they have quite an impressive drink menu as well.
Our trip ended way too soon, so I'm already planning a girls trip back in December! I am beyond excited to see my favorite city all dressed up for the holidays!
