I remember having so much fun organizing T's closet before he arrived. Something about seeing all of his little clothes neatly organized just made me so happy. That's when it really begins to feel real. Imagining them in each sweet little outfit. Well I will say, I was just as excited to organize baby's closet this time as well. For any Momma's to be out there, take note from me and don't wait to tackle this project in your third trimester. I remember finishing T's by about week 28 and I was SO happy I did. With this baby, crazy schedules and chasing a toddler meant we waited a lot longer and at 39 weeks, I can finally say it's ready.
These storage baskets come in many different sizes, but this small one is shown in the photo above. It's perfect for little hats or booties. I also use these baskets for little soft rattles and loveys.
These larger baskets are stored on the top shelf of his closet. This is where I keep other things that I won't need easy access to, like extra wipes or clothes that may be 6+ months bigger.
These hangers are wonderful! Both boys have smaller rooms, but their closets are big! This means we don't have much dresser space and about 90% of our clothes get hung up. These pants hangers are perfect because you don't have to worry about wrinkles. Plus, it makes laundry go by a little quicker by not having to fold everything. Once it comes out of the dryer, I just hang it up!
Both of the boys closets are full of these wooden hangers and I love them! The top swivels and you don't have to worry about it breaking like those velvet hangers. These will last for many many years and they look so much prettier than plastic or velvet hangers.
